Lubricating & Assembly Grease Anti‑Fretting‑Corrosion Grease
YBS-NBU 30 PTM is a high‑performance assembly grease manufactured by Klüber Lubrication, formulated with mineral base oil, barium‑complex soap thickener and solid lubricant additives.
It delivers excellent water‑resistance and reliable protection against tribocorrosion (fretting corrosion) for metal‑to‑metal contact surfaces under humid or outdoor conditions. This grease is certified by Knorr‑Bremse for railway‑industry applications.
It is designed for sliding clearance‑fit assemblies, bolts, spindles, screw joints and valve components. It simplifies assembly and disassembly of mechanical parts even after long‑term service. Good low‑temperature adhesion performance down to ‑40 °C. Typical markets include railway transit, filling machinery, valve manufacturing and automotive maintenance.

Operating Precautions
### Application Notes & Precautions ‑ Apply a thin even coat on clean parts using lint‑free cloth, brush or hand. ‑ For aerosol spray on non‑grease‑nipple railway brake parts: spray minimum 8 seconds for full clearance penetration. ‑ For static / low‑speed metal sliding clearance‑fit joints only. Not for high‑speed rolling bearings. ‑ Do not mix with other greases or oils. ‑ Store in dry, frost‑free place; keep container tightly sealed after opening. ‑ Test material compatibility prior to mass application on plastic or elastomer parts. ‑ Wear protective gloves; avoid prolonged skin and eye contact. ‑ Dispose of waste grease per local environmental rules. ‑ Technical data are for reference only. Perform pre‑testing for your specific application.
How To Use
■ Preparing the parts for application: New parts are typically treated with organic rust-preventive oil or lubricated with grease during storage to prevent damage. Before use, new bearings should be inspected for damage and imperfections.
■ Cleaning before use : Corrosion-resistant coatings and rust - proofing for metal surfaces also prevent grease from adhering and causing it to be ejected from the bearing during operation. These coatings can also oxidize and harden, producing debris that can contaminate the grease. A final cleaning of the components must be thorough; failure to do so may result in a shortened bearing life.
■ Fluorine grease is suitable for use in long-term high-temperature environments, but it also needs to be lubricated regularly, about once every 1-3 months. The amount added can be adjusted according to the length of the lubrication cycle.
